Lasting Powers of Attorney

Why?
In the event of losing mental capacity, the Court of Protection would have the power to take control of your property and finances. A lasting power of attorney enables you to choose who would make decisions in your best interest.
What?
A legal document within which you appoint people to make decisions on your behalf whilst you are alive, but unable to manage your own affairs. There are two types of lasting power of attorney. One for your property and financial affairs. The second for your health and welfare.
How?
By asking you the relevant questions, we can prepare this document to ensure that people chosen by you can carry out your wishes.
